Students of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa conduct traffic surveys of the roads adjacent to the university gates

In implementation of the plan to ensure the quality of education in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa regarding the need to strengthen the scientific side of scientific students in the practical and laboratory, the students of the third class in the Department of Civil Engineering have done a training field for the calculation and classification of traffic vehicles on the streets around the university campus.
Dr. Firas Hassan Alwan taught the students in advance the steps and requirements of the survey through the lectures of laboratory and presentation of educational videos related to traffic volume surveys. The duration of the survey was 60 minutes (Off Peak 10:30 – 11:30) for Counting and classification of vehicles. The students pointed out that the traffic survey included the calculation and classification of vehicles passing by the roads and streets surrounding the university.
