The Department of Structures and Water Recourses at the College of Engineering at the University of Kufa organized a field visit for the first-year students to the Najaf water project. The students were accompanied by some of the faculty members of the department including Dr. Thaer Muttalib, Dr. Ali Mohsen, and Dr. Haider Sami. They were received by the senior chief engineer Mahmoud Shake, the director of the project, and by the engineering and technical staff of the project. A detailed explanation about the stages of the project was presented by the engineer Ammar Sabah through a tour with the students. At the end of the trip, the students expressed their gratitude and admiration for such projects.
