The President of Ferdowsi University in Iran, Dr. Ahmed Dabit, and his delegation recently visited the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa. The visit aimed to explore potential avenues for collaboration between the two institutions. Professor Dr. Hasan Mahdi, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, welcomed the delegation, who organized a comprehensive tour of the faculty’s facilities, including the Nanotechnology Unit, showcasing its advanced laboratories and workshops.
During the tour, Professor Dr. Al-Khateeb briefly overviewed the faculty’s state-of-the-art laboratories and workshop. The delegation was particularly impressed by the faculty’s commitment to equipping these spaces with cutting-edge equipment, facilitating the work of both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
As the visit drew close, the delegation admired the faculty’s ability to remain at the forefront of modernity and technological advancements. They also commended the faculty for its engineering services and consultancy, which contribute to the betterment of the community thanks to the university’s pool of talented individuals.
