The Department of Communications Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa held a seminar entitled “The use of microstrip lines in high-frequency electronic devices”.
The seminar aims to define microstrip lines and their features and indicate the frequency band for the work of these lines and the mechanism of manufacturing and integrating them into electronic circuits.
The seminar included a lecture delivered by Asst. L. Salma Ali Sadiq, in which she touched on the types of microstrip lines and how to simulate them practically and analyze them theoretically. In addition to how to design and manufacture filters, which are one of the basic units of electronic circuits.
The seminar recommended the need to use these lines in the design of high-frequency electronic circuits as they have a high speed in the transmission of electromagnetic signals and can be described as instantaneous in addition to their small size and manufacturing cost, which is relatively low.
