The Faculty of Engineering holds a symposium entitled Lessons of Imam Ali, peace be upon him

The Faculty of Engineering, under the leadership of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mahdi Al-Khateeb, organized a symposium titled “Lessons of Imam Ali (PBUH)” in collaboration with the Mahdi Tent team. The event featured a lecture by Sheikh Dr. Alaa Al-Kaabi, who spoke about the educational insights from the life of the Imam, emphasizing his impact on Islamic society and the need to follow his teachings and actions to become the best version of ourselves.
The symposium aimed to shed light on the Imam’s biography and its effects on society and to encourage families to play an active role in guiding their children and monitoring their behavior according to the values of their community. The event resulted in several recommendations, including the importance of religious and educational counseling and utilizing available therapeutic means. The symposium emphasized the need for adherence to Islamic values, such as tolerance, empathy, patience, and gratitude.
The event was well-attended, with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mahdi Al-Khateeb, and various professors and students from different departments in attendance. Al-Khateeb expressed his gratitude to the symposium organizers, acknowledging their efforts in making the event a success and their continued cooperation in promoting educational activities within the university.
