A workshop was conducted by the Department of Architectural Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kufa, to discuss the projects of second-stage students. The workshop was attended by the Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering, Dr. Shubar Menem, the decision of architecture, Dr. Hassanein Ali Saeed, and the lecturer staff for the second stage, Dr. Aqil Qusai and Hossam Abdel-Khalek. The students presented their projects at the pre-final submission stage and reviewed them from various angles, such as the architectural idea, functional solution, and architectural manifestation. This stage is considered critical before the final submission of the school project.
The professors provided a detailed evaluation of the projects and identified the strengths and weaknesses of each one. They also gave important feedback and recommendations for the improvement of the projects. The school project is an essential component of the academic curriculum for the second stage, as it combines formal and functional aspects that help enhance the students’ design skills.
At the end of the workshop, the Head of the Department commended the efforts of both the professors and students for completing the project collaboratively.
