Under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mahdi Al-Khateeb, and under the auspices of the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Sattar Karim, the Department of Mechanical Engineering held the first session of the second series of seminars for postgraduate students (Masters), which was held on 3/12 / 2023. This performance has been managed by Dr. Hashim Naji Azooz Al Mahmud, postgraduate course reporter, with the committee formed in the department. The session included a first seminar by Dr. Al Mahmud giving on how to prepare and deliver presentations and seminars. Later, one of the postgraduate students in the department presented a seminar on the topic of his research, which is related to power mechanics. The student was discussed by the formed committee and the professors of the Mechanics Department. The student also received questions and remarks from the attendees. It is worth noting that such seminars aim to raise the scientific and research level of postgraduate students and enhance the student’s self-confidence to exercise their role in research and finding solutions to engineering problems of specialization. In addition to the student’s mastery of the art of recitation, methods of presentation, discussion, and defense of the topics they deliver to the recipient.
