The President of the University of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Yassir Lafatah Hassoun, inaugurated Al-Khimma Al-Mahdewiah festival in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mahdi Al-Khatib, with the participation of students from all departments. The festival was held by the University Presidency in cooperation with the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine representative.
The festival included an exhibition of specialized books on Al-Mahdi issue, containing dozens of titles, in addition to artistic works related to the awaited Imam Al-Mahdi, peace be upon him, as well as competitions with several prizes.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering stated that the aim of students’ participation in the festival is to raise the level of intellectual awareness of Al-Mahdi issue among university students and strengthen the spiritual connection with the awaited Imam Al-Mahdi, peace be upon him.”
