Titled Study of the performance of the micro-channel heat sink
The aim of this study is that channels of different shapes can be used to create micro-channel heat sinks (MCHS). Their size and shape may have a significant impact on the thermal and hydrodynamic performance of the MCHS. The finite volume method (FVM) is used to solve the equations governing constant and conjugate heat transfer. The effect of channel shape on MCHS performance is investigated for different channel shapes and compared to straight channels, using ansys fluent software.
