The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa holds a seminar on control systems for smart actuators

The workshop dealt with an explanation of this type of smart actuators that are used in robotic applications, and their vital properties were discussed, and potential future applications for using this type of smart actuators were presented. The focus of the seminar was to present the control methods that were designed and implemented in order to achieve very high micro-precision for such smart actuators used in underwater robotics applications. Due to the light weight of these actuators, the lack of sound during operation, the lack of energy consumed and the bending that can be obtained from the application of very little voltage, the trend towards this type of actuator has increased in several areas, including medical, biological and robotics applications.
During the workshop, four control methods were designed and implemented on such an operator, and very high accuracy was achieved, which resulted in the publication of six research papers, including in three Clarifit journals within the first quarter, and three research papers in international conferences under the name of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kufa.
