The Faculty of Engineering, University of Kufa, participates in the Meeting of the Technical Committee of the Iraqi Codes Project

The lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdulhussein Al-Tameemi, participated in the meeting of the technical committee of the Iraqi codes project, which was held at the headquarters of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control. Dr. Al-Tameemi stated that this meeting is the (279) of the committee meeting since its formation in 2008.
During the meeting, topics related to the implementation of several codes within the project program, including reinforced and regular concrete codes, were discussed as the walls of prestressed concrete construction. The meeting also discussed the rules of procedure of the permanent national committee to be formed to complete the process of preparing and updating the Iraqi codes and technical specifications.
