The Director of the Information Research and Rehabilitation Center at the University of Kufa, a member of education institution at the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ammar Jallawi Karkar, gave a seminar entitled: “University of Kufa server farm” in the scientific symposium organized virtually by the university through the free conference call program, which dealt with issues of development in the technical infrastructure at the university, especially the progress that took place in establishing a server farm, which is the largest accommodating at the Iraqi universities, in addition to reviewing all the electronic services provided by the university to the members of the commission education and students.
Karkar said that this seminar aims to introduce the reality of the university’s information network in terms of design, development, expansion, problems, and challenges, adding that there are other goals such as increasing the decision-makers’ conviction of the need to support future development projects related to technical infrastructure, its management and services, and presenting the capabilities of the form server which was developed during this year and plans to develop it.
