In the continuous pursuit of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa to find job opportunities for graduates and within its ongoing program to provide services to the community and integrate academic and theoretical study with the practical aspect took place in the Department of Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering / University of Kufa discussion of a master thesis of a graduate student (Masters), the fruits of Ali Abdul Amir tagged:
Preparation and characterization of ceramic and polymer nanocomposite nanofibers using Electro-spinning method for tissue engineering applications
This message, which was supervised by the director of the Nanotechnology and Advanced Research Unit at the college, Professor Dr. Sabah Mressen Dhab, was the use of polymeric materials as nanomaterials in technology in a wide way.
Mressen said that the message aims to use nanocomposites of nanomaterials and nanofibers made from natural and synthetic polymers for the purpose of working to rapidly treat and heal wounds by applying polymeric nanomaterials to these wounds in two forms (tissue from nanofibers in the form of slices and gel compounds of materials easy to absorb and adhere to wounds It is through the effect of the presence of these nanomaterials on the effective killing of bacteria that cause wounds such as silver particles and zinc nanoxide. Indicating that this purification will work to find quick ways to treat various medical and pathological conditions such as severe wounds, burns, injury cases at work sites and fighters ’wounds in the army and the police, and through the use of gel superpositions or fast patches that affect wound healing and work to close wounds and reduce bleeding. Pointing to the production of a production system at the university level with very low prices compared to international prices and from homemade materials, which creates a new job opportunity for graduates through marketing these research and industrial systems and harnessing them to serve the community.
