The University of Kufa offers proposals to reduce traffic congestion in the Najaf cemetery

Dr Hamid Adab Eidan, a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering at Kufa University wrote an article on the causes of traffic congestion in “Wadi Al Salam” cemetery and the most important solutions proposed to reduce this congestion and ease the suffering of visitors in reaching their destinations.
He also pointed out that the most important solutions are linking the entrance of the cemetery, which is the extension of the “Hezam Akhthar” road over the “Al Askary” tunnel by the road surrounding the Sea of Najaf, and opening other roads as entrances or exits linking the road In the Al-Najaf Sea with the cemetery, besides the planning to use modern public transportation to like Tram service.
