University of Kufa held a workshop on dark silicon and its effects on the future of multi-core processors

The Department of  Electronic Engineering and Communications / Faculty of Engineering / University of Kufa held a workshop entitled “Dark Silicon and its effects on the future of multi-core processors”.  Dr. Ammar Glawi was the speaker of the workshop, it was attended by the head of the department and a group of faculty members. The workshop addressed the current and future challenges faced by CMOS technology, which caused a full utilization lack of the digital circuits in the integrated devices. In the view of these challenges, a new research and industrial trends were emerged to mitigate the expected consequences.
