At the College of Engineering, University of Kufa, a master’s student, Laith Zabbal Abdul-Karim, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, discussed his tagged thesis
Improving the mechanical wear resistance of cementitious metal pipes by using piping techniques
The discussion committee consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Bassem Ajeel Abbas from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Babylon, specializing in applied mechanics as chair, and Assistant Professor Dr. Maher Hamid Majeed from the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University / Technical Institute Karbala, specializing in applied mechanics as a member, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Naama Mahdi Al-Mousawi from the College Engineering at the University of Kufa specializes in capacity as a member, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Sadiq Yasser Al-Athari from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa specializes in applied mechanics as a member and supervisor, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nabil Muhammad Jassim Al-Zorfi from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa specializes in capacity as a member and supervisor.
After extensive discussion and defense of the student for his thesis, the committee decided to grant him a master’s degree in mechanical engineering sciences, specializing in applied mechanics, with a very good grade.
