This thesis, which was a case study at the General Company for Iraqi Cement / Kufa Cement Factory, is part of the requirements for obtaining a master’s degree in mechanical engineering science, amid great interest from the college that adopted advanced strategic plans for the advancement and advancement of scientific and academic levels, through a service Society and finding appropriate solutions to the problems suffered by state institutions and private sector companies.
Both members of the discussion board supervising the message, Professor Dr. Sabah Mressen Dhab, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Sadiq Al-Athari, said that the study included finding appropriate solutions to the problem of frequent cracks in the hulls of rotating kilns of the Kufa Cement Factory, despite its welding in various ways as a result of mechanical and thermal stresses. Noting that the welding areas are considered an important part of the metal welds, because they are generally weak bonding areas, so there is always great interest from researchers and institutions concerned with welding operations in improving welding connections in different ways.
