A member of university of kufa’s staff lecturing at London collage university

On Thursday, February 13, 2020, the Iraqi Embassy in London, in cooperation with the University College London, organized a specialized seminar entitled “Sustainable Development of Cultural Heritage in Iraq”. In the symposium that held the University College London, two lectures were given, the first being by Dr. Sadiq Khalil from the Adviser in the Prime Minister’s Office on Heritage Management, specifically the tangible heritage, taking a model from Al-Rashid Street as a model, legislative problems and bureaucratic complications facing ways to preserve heritage in Iraq.
The lecturer spoke at the University of Kufa d. Ali Naji Attia on the comprehensive view of heritage and the possibility of investing intangible cultural heritage in increasing people’s interest in preserving their tangible heritage. He reviewed the heritage of the holy city of Najaf as a model to show the human relationship with the heritage in that city, which gives it a cultural and cultural dimension.
