A Research Team from University of Kufa publishes Scientific Research on the Nanoparticle Generator

A research team from the Faculty of Engineering at University of Kufa, composed of Dr. Ali Sabea Hammood, Dr. Zainab Shakir Radeef, and Dr. Sabah M. Thahab, published a scientific research entitled: “Design of a Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Device based on ZnO-Na2Ti6O13 Heterojunction Nanogenerator” in the British Journal of Materials Research Express within the publishing organization IOP and is within the containers of Clarivate Analytics – and within the SJR-Q2 and with an impact factor of 1.449.
The researchers pointed out that the conversion of the energy of mechanical vibrations lost in machinery, vehicles and many engineering applications in electrostatic applications is vital, in this applied research has been designed and synthesized easy and low-cost engineering material of sodium hexatitanite (Na2Ti6O13) with zinc oxide (ZnO). The size and shape of the ZnO-NTO-Nano Fiber were controlled to achieve DC voltage generation, which acts as a nanoscale electrostatic generator.
