The joint research team between the University of Kufa and the University of Malaysia UTHM completed five scientific research as part of a joint research project on alternative nanotechnologies for transistors in 2019, and our university was represented by two faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering. HUSSAIN MAJEED AND TUN HUSSEIN UNIVERSITY OF MALAYSIA.
Al-Khaldi explained that the project aims to design new digital circuits using cell automation technology for quantum dot, one of the proposed nanotechnologies as an alternative to the transistor and adopts the laws of quantum mechanics in the transmission of digital signal. Dr. Al-Khaldi, the founder of the team, said that scientific cooperation resulted in the publication of three researches in sober international journals with influence factor in the SCOPS containers. Two other researches were accepted and scheduled for publication in the years 2021 and 2022, respectively. A new high-performance digital device compared to previous circuits, all in one goal is to build a quantitative memory unit. He stressed that the work of the research team is continuing, God willing, to achieve the goal
