Lecturers of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kufa participated in the Fourth International Conference on Building, Construction and Environment Engineering held at the Turkish Technological University in Istanbul, where Dr. Mohamed Abbas Al-Jumaili, Dr. Hamid Athab Eidan and Engineer Hossam Abdel-Reda participated in the research titled: “Investigating Hospital Parking Demand Characteristics in Iraq: Al-Sadar Hospital as Case Study”.
The study included the study of the characteristics of demand on the parking lot of Al-Sadar Hospital. The study showed that there is an urgent need to adopt standards based on real data, Which showed that the amount of demand for parking lot for employees is more than what is found in the American specifications as well as the number of positions that depend on the number of beds in the hospital.
